Tree Masters began with a simple commitment: to care for the trees that shape the landscape of Greater New Orleans. What started with a small team of arborists grew steadily.
Each service was added by need, as equipment and experience allowed. The work balances removal and preservation, always with respect for the environment and surrounding structures.
Today, Tree Masters operates with certified arborists, trained climbers, and specialized equipment, delivering thoughtful, skilled tree care shaped by place and purpose.

David Carimi
CEO & Owner
David was born and raised in New Orleans. After receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Lynn University in Boca Raton FL, he returned to New Orleans where he began Carimi Construction, with his primary focus on preserving historic architecture.
Growing up with hurricanes, he learned to take storm prep very seriously & having stayed in New Orleans through the aftermath of Katrina and Hurricane Ida, he has extensive experience with storm and emergency response. With Tree Masters, one of David’s many missions is to help the City of New Orleans rebuild in the aftermath of natural disasters.
Jacquelyn Lindsey-Carimi
Owner
Jacquelyn was born and raised in New Orleans and earned her degree in interior design from LSU. She founded JL Studio Designs, a firm specializing in residential and commercial construction and renovations.
Her interest in sustainable design led to the creation of Tree Masters, a sister company focused on responsible tree removal and reuse. Jacquelyn sees trees as an extension of the spaces we live in and works to ensure that what is removed is given new purpose—through compost, furniture, or architectural use.
Amanda Kirwan
Chef Financial Officer

Originally from Puerto Rico, Will began his journey in arboriculture in 2015, quickly discovering a passion and talent for technical tree work. Cutting-edge training from ArborMaster® in tree pruning, climbing, felling, and rigging techniques, equipped Will to tackle complex arboricultural challenges with precision, safety, and efficiency.
His unwavering commitment to excellence has earned him a stellar reputation for delivering exceptional results, driven by a genuine love for nature and a desire to preserve its beauty. Will is dedicated to making a lasting impact in the field of arboriculture with his unique blend of technical skills, creativity, and passion.
Ben Dendy
Arborist

Carol Carimi Acutt
VP of Business Development
James is an ISA Certified Arborist and a Registered Landscape Architect, bringing over 25 years of experience in the landscape industry. He earned his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Louisiana State University.
Having worked with hundreds of clients in both the public and private sector in Tokyo, Tucson, and New Orleans, James is driven by a passion for service to others, and for preserving and enhancing the urban forest that makes New Orleans a unique and beautiful place to live.
